Foundation Charter

The formal purpose and governance of Earthkeepers, as registered under Dutch law.

Name and seat

The foundation, Stichting Earthkeepers, has its statutory seat (zetel) in Soest, the Netherlands, and is based and operates from Lochem.

Purpose

Per the foundation's statutes, its purpose is:

To emphasise the bond, harmony, and connection between people and nature, and the potential of co-creation with nature and her healing power.
To point people toward their shared rights as upholders of the earth's universal right as an intelligent being.
To point people toward the role they play as human beings on earth and in nature, as natural beings in cooperation with all other life.
To support this form of co-creation with the earth as an intelligent being, in every action we undertake as humans in our society.
To make people aware that as humans we stand in service of our earth, as our employer and as the wellspring of inspiration from which we create everything.

How the foundation pursues its purpose

Creating and bringing together a like-minded community, tribe, or collective of people who recognise, support, and jointly guide one another in caring for each person's unique essence and their potential contribution to society and the world.
Organising cultural and other events, retreats, lectures, workshops, activities, and gatherings, through which the foundation's message is shared and people are inspired.
Offering information, advice, and guidance, among other things through the various forms of media available.
Collaborating with a range of organisations and institutions.
Undertaking, or arranging to be undertaken, any further actions connected to the above in the broadest sense, wherever the board considers them conducive, useful, or desirable.

Non-profit status

The foundation does not aim to make a profit. It holds no more capital than is reasonably necessary for the continuity of its planned activities in service of its purpose, and board members receive no compensation for their work, beyond reimbursement of actual expenses incurred.

Legal registration

Stichting Earthkeepers is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 69649189, established by Dutch notarial deed.
